The Challenges in HU2 are set up with many different types bonuses for different missions and different scoring possibilities. You will get points for completing a mission, but you will also get points for the manner in which you complete the missions. For example, you may have a mission set up for a long range shot, or possibly for a short range shot, or it may be a timed mission. If you complete the mission with each of the scoring modifiers checked off, you will get more points!
HU2 no longer exits you from a mission automatically, as HU did. You can choose to continue on a mission for as long as you want. However, after a certain amount of time, or after you have spooked the animals, you may not get any points. You can always press Escape and Restart the hunt.
In Challenges, you are set up with preset guns and bows and items. Sometimes you may choose to change these selections, and sometimes you only have what you are given.
