My friend got 25 extra missions - I can't find them.

If you are using v1.0R then you can get the v1.1R patch.
Note: If it says 1.1 on the main menu of HU, then you already have the extra missions installed. They are the Master Missions for each animal species.

Patch Notes:
Version 1.1R
-- Added a new Master Campaign for each species.
-- Improved compatibility with integrated SavageMX and i810/i815 graphics chipset.
-- Gun no longer shaking so fast after a while when crouched and prone.
-- Added a few shaders, textures and ambient sounds that are used in the BC episode yet that were only found in Alaska assets to the patch.
-- Made several interface screens less fill-rate hungry, they should render faster for people with really low end machines.
-- Fixed a bug in tree Level Of Detail code that did not properly obey the setting set in Options->Performance screen. People setting it low now should have even lower polygon counts. Also increased the range of the "detail level" slider to allow for even higher detail than was available before so that people with really good machines could enjoy their game with even less tree pop-up.
